Mettler AT Shipping

Materials Needed:

• Bubble wrap
• Tape - shipping & masking
• 2 boxes - one 1/3 larger than the other
• Shipping peanuts or other Pelspan material
• Shipping label / packing slip / purchase order

Instructions:

Disassembly of glass parts and shipping instructions for Mettler balance model AT

Remove display	Remove 1 screw on underside of display. Pull forward. Take care in removal.
Remove front glass	Remove 2 screws (154). Hold front glass to keep from falling.
Remove rear wall	Remove 3 screws (155). Do not remove 2 center screws.
Remove level support	Remove 2 screws (156).
Remove doors	Slide each door to rear for removal.
Remove top doors	Pull metal housing which holds top glass door to rear. Remove as a unit.
Reinstall rear wall	Reassemble back wall to front wall and chassis with 3 screws (155)

Do not ship glass with balance

1. Store glass in safe area until balance returns from repair. Do not loose rollers.
2. Place balance in plastic bag to keep packing and foreign material out of instrument.
3. Place balance in large enough box so as to have at least 3 inches of packing material surround all sides.
4. We suggest double boxing for added protection and insuring the same.

Keep this information for re-assembly when instrument Is returned from repair. Re-assemble in reverse order.
